Increased sales in 2014 has Optimax Systems Inc. looking to hire in the new year.
While increasing the size of its Ontario, NY facility to 60,000 square feet over the last several years, the company has also steadily increased the size of its workforce. That trend will continue in 2015 as Optimax looks to hire about 30 new employees, bringing the total to 250 by year’s end.
More technicians and engineers are needed to fill increased sales orders. In 2014, Optimax had a 25 percent increase in sales bookings over the previous year.
Optimax is one of America’s largest optics prototype manufacturers, while also specializing in thin-film optical coatings and high-precision optical and mechanical metrology.
