The Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster is pleased to announce that its new website is now online. Developed and hosted by RRPC member Innovative Solutions, the site has been redesigned to help promote and sell the services of our members. We were lucky to have so many photographs sent to us by members and are pleased to include many of them on the site.
The next step is for RRPC members to verify that their company information is correct. Please have the person in your company responsible for maintaining your membership information on the website take a look and send feedback to Tom Battley.
“The website has needed an overhaul for a long time. We were not happy with the developer or the host reliability. This is a familiar story. Web development and Information Technology are a struggle, or worse, a mystery for a many of our members,” said RRPC Executive Director Thomas Battley. “The staff at Innovative Solutions made the entire process simple and painless. These folks know what it takes to leverage information technology investments to add to a company’s bottom line.”
Battley noted that the RRPC and New York Photonics addresses see a lot of traffic. “People know that Rochester, New York is the nation’s turnkey region for finding optics, photonics and imaging solutions to their most difficult problems. We promote the cluster and our membership with our newsletter, at conferences, through networking opportunities whenever possible, and of course, on the web. The first stop when people are looking for Rochester companies is often our website.”
