In recent years, JML Optical was having most of its custom lenses and other optical components built in China.
But since new owners took the helm in 2011, JML Optical has participated in a growing trend in manufacturing: bringing production back to the United States, where it’s easier to manage customers’ increasingly exact tolerances for variation.
