My background is in mainly Optical Signal Processing, but am open to explore the field of Photonics integration. My work was mainly focused on improving spectral efficiency in complex field modulated optical transmission systems with direct detection by using various digital signal processing techniques. I worked on laboratory based high speed optical transmission systems. Experience with Analog-Digital Hybrid Subcarrier Multiplexing, QPSK, Quadrature Duobinary Signalling, Polybinary signalling, QAM16 modulation schemes. Conducted experiments with 14G Baud QAM16 modulated signal in an Optical Single Sideband Transmission systems with Direct detection. Fluent with using Matlab to generate complex high order multilevel modulated signals and performing carrier recovery, clock symbol recovery, phase recovery, chromatic dispersion compensation etc.
