20 Years of Growth and Development
Optimax started operations in a barn in Webster, New York with a single mission– to grind and polish optical components. Today, the company stays true to its roots while expanding and taking on challenging projects to meet emerging market needs.
In 2012, Optimax added 50+ new employees to their workforce, as well as continuing a $7.5 million dollar expansion. This year they will will be expanding their coating facilities to enhance our capabilities for large diameter optics (up to 500mm) and deep UV and IR coatings.
