IDEX Optics & Photonics is proud to announce that Dr. Turan Erdogan has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Marketing & Business Development and will oversee all of the customer and product marketing activities for the platform. Prior to assuming his new role, Dr. Erdogan was the Chief Technology Officer for IOP and was responsible for the optics technology and long-range product development for all of the IDEX Optics & Photonics businesses. Dr. Erdogan will continue his involvement in product development and also focus on important strategic growth initiatives for all of the current companies within IOP. Dr. Erdogan was co-founder and CTO of Semrock in 2000, which was acquired by IDEX in 2008 as the first optics company for the Corporation.
